Meta & WhatsApp Data Deletion Instructions

AICSOL Business Messaging is in development. These instructions apply to information handled through its authorized Meta and WhatsApp integration, including development and testing. Anyone whose information we process can request deletion, even without an AICSOL account.
1. Send your request
Email surya@aicsol.com with the subject Data deletion request — AICSOL Business Messaging. This mailbox is monitored for privacy and deletion requests.
Include only what is needed to locate the information:
- The name of the business, test account or AICSOL account involved.
- The phone number used in the conversation, including country code, or the email associated with your account.
- An approximate interaction date, if known.
- Whether the request concerns a particular conversation, your contact information or all relevant information under our control.
Do not send passwords, Meta access tokens, full payment-card information or identity documents with the initial request.
2. How we handle it
This is a manual email request process, not an automatic deletion callback or a self-service deletion endpoint.
We will review the request, ask for proportionate verification if needed and identify records within our responsibility. This can include account and contact information, messages and attachments, Flow submissions, related technical records and any copies or backups under our control, depending on what the integration processed.
Where we act on a business's instructions, we coordinate with that business and with providers holding information on our behalf. You can also contact the business directly. You do not need to contact that business before sending a request to AICSOL.
3. Timing and confirmation
We act promptly on Meta Platform Data requests and delete the applicable information as soon as reasonably possible, subject to proportionate verification and any legally required retention. We respond within the deadlines required by applicable law. We will explain the outcome, relevant deletion steps, and any permitted limitation or remaining legally required record.
The development service does not promise a fixed automatic deletion timer. Active records and backup copies are considered in the request; disconnecting an account alone does not complete deletion. Backups are not a justification to retain or reuse data indefinitely. If any step cannot be completed immediately, we will explain its status and the applicable completion arrangements. Reply to the same email thread to ask for an update.
Information legally required to be retained is restricted to that requirement and removed when it ends. Independent copies held by the business, message recipients, Meta or WhatsApp are handled by those organizations under their own policies.
4. Disconnecting Meta access
An authorized administrator may remove AICSOL Business Messaging's access through the relevant Meta business account or integration settings. The exact controls depend on how the account was connected. Contact us if you need help identifying the connection.
Revoking access and deleting previously stored information are different actions. Send a deletion request if you want stored records removed as well. Account closure and the end of a permitted processing purpose also trigger applicable deletion obligations.
